Finding Balance OVER Time (Not ALL The Time)

You see it and hear it everywhere; have a balanced life, find balance in your life, do xyz to achieve balance in your life. 

There are two truths related to this topic:

  • Truth #1: We have all achieved varying levels of success in the different areas of our lives. So, no one person is the same and therefore there is no single strategy for everyone to achieve a constant balance in their lives.

  • Truth #2: Trying to achieve complete balance in your life at all times will likely drive you crazy! And therefore would not be completely balanced.


Our approach at MyDAMplan is to help you achieve balance OVER time. At any given point you may be spending more time, effort and focus on certain area(s) of your life. And that is necessary. Once you make it through that “sprint” you’ll likely be able to put that area on maintenance mode and put more of your time, effort and focus on another area of your life that now requires it.

Your life may not seem completely balanced at every point, but over time we believe it is possible to achieve balance.

We’ve seen people get burnt out trying to do everything all at once. Use time to your advantage. Not everything has to be done right now!
